It's the middle of June, a time  you would expect to be very quiet around a long-distance dog sled racing kennel, but Gavin explains how busy things really are. He's got news about distributing dog food (Inukshuk), building dog boxes, new dogs in the kennel, and the ongoing dog care. Of course, we talk about plans for the season ahead, including plans for changes in training.

It's been awhile since we've gotten Gavin to sit down to chat about Trail Dancer Kennels, but it's spring, so the time had come. This week, Gavin looks back on the CanAm 250 (Fort Kent, Maine) and talks about what worked, what didn't and what he learned that will influence his training for next year. Gavin also updates us on changes at the kennel, including news about Innukshuk dog food, new dogs for the team and dog box manufacturing that's keeping him busy.
